Focus on Whats Important
First define your goals in terms that create a vivid
mental picture of your desired end-state. Don't let any
external or internal things distract you from the your
goal. Stay focused on reaching the milestones that
support your goals by making various plans which
support your millstones which helps u reaching your
goals.

10
Be Proactive
Create the habit of working intentionally:

Minimise your distractions-Make your mind focused

on reaching your goals by avoiding all the distraction.
Make a not-to-do' list and adhere to it-Make a list of
items you dont want to do which directly gets stored in
your brain and you avoid doing that things.

11
Practice Good Time Management
It means to do the right things in a right way at the right time.
For this we need to focus on your priorities and focus on those tasks that
advance important goals; those goals that will bring in high pay off results.
Activities that involve too much time should be simplified, delegated or
eliminated. Good time management means focusing on results. Its important
to aim for excellence but not necessarily for perfection. Cause when you aim
for excellence you might get excellent results but when you aim for
perfection you might never quite get there.

12
Be Passionate and Enthusiastic
Mix with positive people and dont accept negativity either privately or
professionally. See the Opportunity and not the obstacle. Always try to see the
positive situation of any thing. Look harder look longer and look at it
differently.
Two techniques to attain these is
1. Positive self talk and
2. Visualization

Positive Self-Talking Instead of telling you cant do something, tell yourself

you can do it Say these I am a great person; I am valuable, I am good at
what I do, I am excited about my work, my goals and my life.
Visualization includes: Determining your end goal (actually seeing, touching,
feeling and experiencing the emotion of the goal). In this way you feel that you
have already achieved your goal as you are already experiencing it.

13
Allow Schedule Flexibility
To maintain a balance between both personal and
professional life employees should be given the option
to work remotely when they really need to because of
an emergency that requires them to make up time later.
For example, if employees child is sick, consider
offering her the opportunity to work from home that day
or come into the office over time weekend to make up
for lost time.

14
No Stress No Absenteeism

Many office buildings have a gym facility onsite, which

encourages employees to use it regularly as exercise
reduces stress. Another option is that its important to
workers mental and physical health to take frequent
breaks throughout the day, this keeps them active and
they remain focused in their work.
This avoids absenteeism.

15
Health
The imbalanced causes many health issues such as
obesity, stress, exhaustion and emotional problem.
These issues cause further problems in both personal
and professional lives.
Many organizations are providing health benefits for the
employees so that they can improve their efficiency and
increase productivity.

16
Some of the Benefits provided by such organizations:

Provide good health coverage for all employees, even part-time Ask
your employees what they would like to see improve about their health and
life insurance coverage, and act on it. Take your employees health and
wellness seriously, and they will return the respect.
Preventive benefits account for the real human need for increased health
intervention after age 50. If your current health insurance policy does not
cover measures like colonoscopies or prostate exams, consider adding these
benefits.
Self-care benefits like personal care, legal services (particularly targeting
wills and estate planning), and discount programs can also address the
concerns of senior employees and enhance their life.

17
Satisfaction
Satisfaction plays an important role in life.
Satisfaction in both personal life and professional life.
Many factors effect them such as: Family, friends,
job, working environment, salary, rewards and many
more.
Satisfaction at Job will improve the personal life.
More happy the person is in his personal life the more
happy and satisfied with his job as both personal life
and professional life go hand in hand.
18
Steps can be taken to increase satisfaction at
workplace:
Love Your Job: One should always do what they love, this will
automatically increase their level of satisfaction.
Be more Energized: Once you put all your energy in work you will be
more happy when it pays off.
Putting Ideas into Practice: Empowering the employees to take control
over their work and home lives can have a profound impact on their job
satisfaction and performance, enabling us to do whats best and most
effective for our company.
All these will increase satisfaction of employees which will in turn make
them happy being at workplace.
