What is a Mechanic
A mechanics job is to assemble, maintain and repair machines and
vehicles.
Their responsibilities are to
Build and assemble various machines and vehicles
Inspect vehicles and machines and run tests
Repair vehicles and machines
Troubleshoot problems
Preform maintenance

Mechanics work in Automotive shops or car dealerships.


Salary
An hourly rate for a mechanic is 12.05-31.98 with the median being
20.77.
A entry level mechanic makes 35,000 a year
A mid-career mechanic makes 50,000 a year
An experienced mechanic makes 49,000 a year
A late career mechanic makes 54,000 a year
Education and skill requirments
To become a mechanic you need these 5 things
1. Complete a High School Education or GED
2. Enroll in a Vocational Education Program
3. Obtain a Certificate
4. Receive Employer Training
5. Become a Master Mechanic

I would be interested in this job because I consider myself more of a


hands on person.
