An over the shoulder shot is a camera shot which

is created by taking a photo of someone or


something from the perspective/ camera angle
from the shoulder of another person.
A high angle shot is a
camera shot that is taken
from a place higher above/
looking down on the subject
matter. During this type of
shot, the point of focus
often gets swallowed up.
This type of shot can denote
vulnerability or sense of
powerlessness when
applied in the correct
setting.
A close-up is a type of camera shot which is
taken from a close range. This type of shot is
usually taken from a short distance from the
subject to permit a close and detailed view.
An extreme close up is
a camera shot that is
so tight that it
enhances a single
detail. This type of shot
allows the viewer to
enter a subjects initiate
space, because it can
enhance certain
characteristics and
emotions which can
engage the audience.
A long shot is a camera shot which typically
shows the entire subject and will show the
entire surrounding background. This shot is
typically used to set the scene.
This camera shot is taken at an angle
bellow the subject. Can show that
you are looking up at someone.
An extreme long shot is
a shot that is taken at a
considerable distance,
even further than a
long shot. When taking
a picture of a person at
an extreme long shot,
they can appear as
small dots in the
scenery.
A two shot is a camera shot which
represents two people together in the
picture.
