Introduction: Overview
In our course #2603, we taught a lesson of performing art while we were in the

schools. My lesson was about music and movement and since they were taking

Movement in science.

My lesson it was (Walking in the jungle) this song is reviewing the movement such as

(Jumping, walking, skipping, and running, walking forward and back) it is also

reviewing the animals name such as (tiger, frog, and toucan).

Introduction: incorporate particular philosophy

The Reggio Emilia approach is based on the idea that every child has at

least, one hundred languages available in their world, and one of those

languages is music. While all of the arts (visual, music, dance, drama) are

considered equally important in Reggio schools. (Hanna, Early childhood education

journal, 2013)

Which methodology was used
Reggio Emilia approach is based on naturals child development as researched and described by

many child psychologists and researchers.(Spielgaben, 2013) And one of the Features of the Reggio

Emilia philosophy is Children learn best through a multi-sensory approach: Reggio classrooms

contain experiences that appeal to all senses. Children will be touching, seeing, hearing, moving,

speaking and listening. (Spielgaben, 2013)

Another key to the features of the program that the students they have to have a relationship with

the material and the other students.

why this methodology was chosen
I use this method because the Reggio Emilia approach is focusing on the students senses

and thats what I used while Im teaching the lesson, they learn the lesson by hearing,

speaking, moving and seeing. This method will help the students to take the lesson with more

fun, and it will be more interesting for them especially they are only between 3 and four years

old. This age needs to learn fun things in the school to not feel bored during the day.

Also because the "Children have a hundred languages through which show us what they

know in many ways they move, draw, paint, build, sculpt, do collages, act, sing, play music

and more" (REGGIO EMILIA PHILOSOPHY, 2016)

Connect the lesson exercises with
the methodology
The activity we were doing is (jumping, skipping, listening, singing, and speaking)

The students were using the Reggio Emilia approach method while they are moving around the

classroom and have a relationship with the song they are hearing, the student they are using all

their senses in the activity.

Also, the student while they are speaking to gather and discuss somethings in the activity like

guessing together the animals sound they hear they develop their relationship together and in the

Reggio Emilia approach method the students they should have contact with each other and the

materials they are using.

The success or difficulty in implementing
this methodology in the lesson

Success difficulty
The students understand faster. The difficulty that the students need to lead

The activity help the students to develop from the teacher sometime if they start to

their physical, social, emotional, knowledge misbehave.

development.

The students enjoy the lesson.

Conclusion
As a teacher we should use different methods to teach our students.

Changing and trying different methods and technique in teaching is fun and we have

to find the most enjoyable way to teach the students in the schools.
