Maglev train is one of the magnetic
application in the modern era. Maglev
train (magnetic levitation) is a
transportation system that uses
electromagnetic forces. The force
applied to float, driving and driving a
vehicle (especially rail).
Magnetically levitated (MAGLEV) trains are considered as a
future application of HTS development. To understand why, we
must look briefly at the history of the railroads.
The development of trains and rails began in the early 1800s. The
modern conventional train is no faster (~110 Kmh) than those of
the late 1890s.
speeds over 260 km/h until 430
km/h !!!

High-speed maglev train solutions

promise dramatic improvements for
human travel if widespread adoption
occurs. Although conventional
wheeled transportation can go very
fast, maglev allows routine use of
higher top speeds than conventional
rail, and this type holds the speed
record for rail transportation.
This graphic showing how a maglev train works. It is a system of
transportation that uses magnetic levitation to suspend, guide
and propel vehicles with magnets rather than using mechanical methods,
such as wheels, axles and bearings.
The power needed for levitation is typically not a large percentage of
the overall energy consumption, most of the power is used to overcome
air resistance. here are 2 examples of existing maglev trains. There are
at ground level and some are using the fly over.
Maglev Trains work with an electro magnet, Maglev
trains move more smoothly and more quickly than
wheeled mass transit systems. Their not reliance on
friction that means acceleration and deaceleration can
surpass that of wheeled transports, and they are
unaffected by weather .
