EXECUTIVE SUMMERY
INTRODUCTION

On Nov 8 surgical strike on black money took place in the form of high
currency denomination i.e Rs500, RS1000. Its the kind of step taken by any
government to erode corruptions from India because as a result of
demonetization it made lifestyle harder for an ample amount of time. So,
basically the main idea for conducting the research on Problem faced by
common people is to better insights on peoples problem through the time.
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Common People experience tells that they are suffering from various problems
during demonetization. Purchasing of daily basic goods like: milk, vegetables,
breads etc. and the queue of lines at ATMs and banks for currency.

Hence we are interested to know the major problems faced by people during
demonetization. So we discussed the matter with 10 people who faces the
problem and got the following results:-

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

To find the various problems faced by commoners in demonetization


To find satisfaction of the people for the different policies by government
during starting period of demonetization with regard to:
Availability of cash
Exchange of the currency
Queue outside ATMs and Banks
Facilities
Time Disturbance
HYPOTHESIS

People are not happy with unavailability of cash in ATMs and Banks
People are finding difficulty in exchanging of old currency notes
People are finding difficulty in standing outside long queue in ATMs and Banks
People are not happy with the facility and services provided by the Bank
People are not happy because of disturbance in their time
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

DATA
Primary data will be collected from the persons who are facing daily problems and
standing in the line in demonetization period with a structured questionnaire

SAMPLING
Convenient Sampling methodology will be used for the study

STATISTICAL TOOLS USED


Following statistical tools will be used:- Mean, Median, Mode, Standard Deviation, Z-
Test, T-Test etc.
