 Is a psychological theory of knowledge which believe that
people have ideas and concepts from their experience in
their life.
 Sensorimotor stage (birth - 2 years old).
Pre operational stage (2 -7).
Concrete operations (7 - 11).
Formal operations (+12).
 The children learn by doing because in this stage the
children use all their senses ( looking, touching, sucking).
Object permanence appears around 9 months.
 The children use language and symbols. Its including letters and
numbers. Also, in their mind if the materials are changed the whole
concept may changed for them (size, wieght). conservation marks the
end of the pre operational stagger and the beginning of concrete
operations.
 Its a mental operations so child start to conservation, reversibility, serial ordering
and a mature understanding. They use their brain to salve any math problems.
 Each child may have a individual demonstrate by solve
their problems and they can figure out the solution before
trying them out.
