The main objective is to promote Indira


Sagar as a touristic place.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
 To provide better facilities of transport and
accommodation.
 To promote Indira Sagar.
 To examine the existing tourism demand
and supply.
 To know the satisfaction level of existing
tourist.
 To analyse the problem.
INTRODUCTION

 India has been an attraction for travelers from all


over the world for its scenic beauty, varied
culture , rich heritage.
 Adventure tourism is rapidly gaining attention of
the tourist across the world.
 The young travelers from a major contribute to
adventure tourism revenue.
 The prime reason for increase in demand for
adventure sport is the growth of youth tourism.

 The study is confined to Indira sagar
tourism destination.
 The study is undertaken mainly for
assessing the potentially of Indira sagar
tourism in MP.
 High lightly the hidden tourism spot
keeping in the view the existing trend of
adventure tourism in MP.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
 Research is a systematic approach.
 It is consist of enuncating the problem
formulating.
 A hypothesis collecting of his facts or data
analyse the fact and researching certain
conclusion
 Research in the form of solution towards
the concerned problem.
 To solve the research problem.
METHODOLOGY

 PRIMARY SOURSE:-
Information through direct phone call to people
of MP.
 SECONDARY SOURSE:-
Some information through reading material
&some sort of internet.
FINDINGS
 Direct transportation is one requirement of
the tourist.
 Accommodation is required of the tourist.
 Development program by government is
another area.
 Shopping local art craft, fair and festivals
local cuisines and folk traditions.
 Information and publicity system is yet
another area which is short supply.
SUGGESTIONS
 Recreation and entertainment facilities.
 Willing and active involvement of local people.
 Co-ordination between public and private sector.
 Government participation is very necessary.
 This study indicates poor services in
transportation facilities.
 The publicity & marketing strategies are poor.
CONCLUSION

• Tourism is already serving as a single largest article of


export for many countries, developed and developing. As
the factors responsible for the unprecedented
development of tourism like leisure, more discretionary
income, better and amenities, industrialization,
urbanization and population explosion and man's desire
to travel for and wide for diverse motives becomes
stronger and stronger with time tourism is likely is likely
to touch newer heights. Because of immense growth
prospects of tourism and its multifarious benefits there is
increasing competition among the nation for enlarging
their share in international market for tourism.
