The document outlines the three branches of the United States government: the executive branch led by the President, the legislative branch made up of Congress, and the judicial branch headed by the Supreme Court. It describes the basic roles and responsibilities of each branch, including that the President commands the military as head of the executive branch, Congress makes laws and approves the federal budget, and the Supreme Court makes final rulings that can only be overturned by amending the Constitution.
