What is the Hydraulic oil ?

Introduction
Hydraulic oil is a suitable solution for hydraulic equipment and used for tool
machines, press machines, aircraft, construction equipment, automobiles, and
so on. Hydraulic oil plays important role throughout industry.
It functions in power transmission, parts lubrication, prevention of rust and
corrosion in hydraulic system, and the extension of machine and tool life by
cooling the system.

The important qualities for hydraulic oil.

- Suitable viscosity.
- Low pour point, so working is possible even in low temperature.
- High viscosity index minimizes viscosity change according to operational
temperature.
- Excellent non-wear of operational parts.
- Excellent anti-foaming agency to prevents cavitation in operation.
- Excellent demulsification ability to make possible to separate water and oil.
- Excellent prevention of rust and corrosion.

The controls of hydraulic oil

Kinematic viscosity
Under normal conditions, the viscosity change should not be large;
the control standard is 10%. If viscosity change is over the figure,
it is considered mixture of other oil and oxidation and an oil refill might be
necessary.
Moisture
The ordinary control standard of moisture is less than 1000ppm.
(Exception: F/E system -2000ppm, W/G system- 405% )
If moisture is around the control standard, it is necessary to drain and refill the oil

Total acid value

If acid value is 0.5mg KOH/g over the original oil when the total acid value is
measured, It is oxidated and it may be necessary to have an oil refill.

ECO POWER-Series (ISO L-HFDU)

(Polyol ester based Biodegradability Fire-resistant Hydraulic Fluid)
ECO POWER-Series was developed for severe service in all hydraulic applications
where a fire hazard exists and petroleum hydraulic oil would be potentially unsafe.
Its excellent stability enable itself to prolong fire-resistant properties
and resistance to the formation of sludge or deposits in prolonged service.

Special Feature (HYDRO FE-SERIES)

1.FIRE-RESISTANCE
HYDRO FE-SERIES is not only un-combustible but also do not ignite
respectively burn in most cases, where a conventional petroleum hydraulic oil will do.

2. VISCOSITY PROPERTIES
High V.I (Viscosity Index) enable this hydraulic fluid to accommodate wide
temperature fluctuations.

3. ANTI WEAR PROPERTIES

Excellent Lubricity enable to apply for severe condition (like vane-pump), and to
maintain crucial tolerances characteristic of advanced hydraulic system. This fluid
provides dependable industrial hydraulic service in areas of and use where operation
conditions place severe physical demands on the hydraulic fluids.

4. NON-TOXICBIO-DEGRADABLE
HYDRO FE-SERIES is classified as Non-Toxic and Bio-Degradable.
Unlike phosphate, this hydraulic fluid when burning, does not evolve large
volumes of toxic smoke.
HYDRO FE-SERIES when burned, generates non-toxic, non-noxious Smoke.

HYDRO WG-Series (ISO L-HFC)

(Water-Glycol Fire-resistant Hydraulic Fluid)
HYDRO WG-SERIES is a Water-Glycol Fire-resistant Hydraulic Fluid containing a
glycol, a high molecular weight poly glycol and the additives.
HYDRO WG-SERIES was developed to extend the life-time of fluid itself.
Because it is resistant to oxidation and thermal degradation and to the formation
of sludge and gum.
