Seismic data is assumed to be S(t) = R(t) * W(t)

which means :
No noise, multiples
No Diffraction (should be properly migrated)
True Amplitude processing, no AGC, coherency enhancement
No AVO effects
No Spectral extrapolation
Be aware of trace interpolation, well and seismic datum

Vertical resolution is improved
Horizontal resolution is enhanced
Noise is eliminated significantly
