Utkarsh Tubes & Pipes Ltd. is a pioneer of making ERW/HFIW Black & Galvanized
Steel Tubes for last three decades. Utkarsh is awarded with several national &
international licenses on steel tubes by organizations like Bureau of Indian
Standards, DNV (For EN) & UL (For ASTM).
Apart from Round Steel Tubes, Utkarsh also have a Tube Fittings Division
(Socket/Coupler) & Square & Rectangular Hollow Section Division. For both
the division Utkarsh has license from Bureau of Indian Standards. Utkarsh can serve
the demand of steel tubes according to different application with its slitting lines, pipe
mills, galvanizing units, Finishing units, Fool proof hydraulic testing machines to name
a few which is fully equipped with state of the art machinery.
Utkarsh have a wide range of Steel Tubes for diameter from NB 15 mm (½ Inch)
to NB 400 mm (16 Inch) and for thickness 1.80 mm to 10.00 mm.

IS 3589 : 2001 Standards applies to steel

pipes for water & sewage. It covers a huge
range of diameter right from OD 168.3 mm
to OD 2540.0 mm. Utkarsh have the
production facility up to OD 406.4 mm. This
standard is widely used in collieries for
extraction of Water, Thermal Powers,
Transports, industrial pipe lines,
agriculture & irrigation purposes.

 EN 10255:2004+A1:2007 - NON-
ALLOY STEEL TUBES SUITABLE
FOR WELDING AND THREADING

EN 10255:2004+A1:2007 specifies the

requirements for circular non-alloy steel
tubes suitable for welding and threading
and provides a number of options for the
finish of tube ends and coatings. This
standard covers tubes of specified outside
diameter 10,2 mm to 165,1 mm (thread size
1/8 to 6) in two series, medium and heavy,
and three types of designated thicknesses.

 AS 1074 -1989 - STEEL TUBES AND
TUBULARS FOR ORDINARY SERVICE

AS 1074-1989 specifies requirements for

threaded steel tubes and tubulars, and
plain-end steel tubes suitable for screwing,
and of DN 8 to DN 150 inclusive (nominal
size). Three wall thicknesses of tube,
designated Light, Medium, and Heavy.
This standard widely used in domestic as
well as in industrial areas right from liquid
flow to structural Purposes.

 ASTM A53 - STANDARD SPECIFICATION
FOR PIPE, STEEL, BLACK AND HOT-
DIPPED, ZINC-COATED, WELDED AND
SEAMLESS

ASTM A53 Standard Spec. for Pipe, Steel,

Black and Hot-Dipped, Zinc-Coated, Welded
and Seamless This specification covers
Seamless and Welded, Black and Hot-
Dipped Galvanized nominal (average) wall
pipe for coiling, bending, flanging and other
special purposes and is suitable for welding.
Each length of pipe shall be subjected to the
hydrostatic test. Also, each pipe shall be
examined by a non-destructive examination
method in accordance to the required
practices.
