Abstract

The aim of this study is to lessen the environmental


impact of single-use sachet wastes by means of utilizing its
components to produce a reusable thermal grocery bag. This
includes an evaluation of the produced grocery bag through
the feedback of the customers.

Statement of the Problem

• The researchers aim to utilize these used sachet by


converting it to a polyester fabric then into a thermal
grocery bag with aluminum sheets as insulators. At
the same time lessening the environmental footprint
of these sachets.

Scope and Delimitations
• Determination of the possible utilization of Unilever’s used
sachets.

• Investigation of its components and raw materials.

• Exploration of possible separation process for sachet delayering.

• This study will be conducted within the Metro Manila only and
will last for about one semester.
