I?
1. I am not a thing If I were a thing or a god
2. I am not a god I would have no problem
3. I am a dialogue with myself, others and the
world.
I am a relationship with myself, others and the
world. The self, the other and the world form an
inseparable unity.
4. I am an embodied self.
The self and the body constantly interacts and
when the interaction ceases I die.
5. I feel an insistent urge to grow.
If I do not satisfy this need, I feel dissatisfied
with myself and I feel unhappy.
6. I am empowered to get knowledge, but
they are limited. I am prone to mistakes.
Action-failure stares me in the face.
7. I am self-aware. I am aware of death.
I question the purpose of my life. I wonder
whether I am the play thing of the gods.
8. I am a contingent being.
I am not a necessary being.
9. I have freedom and choice.
But my freedom is only a potential. I have to
actualize it by hard choices.
10. I can be authentic or inauthentic,
depending on how I use my freedom.
If I choose to follow my values and live
according to them I become authentic.
If I blindly follow the values of others I become
in authentic.
