Research Design

The research design that will be used in this study is qualitative-

descriptive type of research wherein it aims to find an answer to the
objectives of the study and to gather information on the population being
studied on. It enables to measure the number of the respondents who are
involved in the study and to identify the level of satisfaction of patients in the
orthopedic ward in CLMMRH on the health services rendered by the staff
nurses. This research will use questionnaire. The questions in the
questionnaire reflect or are based on the specific objectives of the study. The
questions will be in vernacular language/Hiligaynon.
 Research Instrument
The research instrument that will be used in the study is questionnaire.
Use of questionnaire is a method of gathering self-report information from
respondents through self-administration of questions in paper-and-pencil
format.

PART I – The first part of the questionnaire will be composed of the personal
information about the research participants.
PART II – The second part of the questionnaire will include 14 close-ended
questions answerable by yes or no that tested the level of satisfaction
towards the health services rendered by the staff nurses to the patients in
Floor II Main Ortho Ward of CLMMRH, Bacolod City.
