Space
Outer space (often simply called space) is
the void that exists beyond any celestial
body including the Earth.
It is not completely empty (i.e. a perfect
vacuum), but contains a low density of
particles, predominantly hydrogen plasma,
as well as electromagnetic
radiation, magnetic fields, and neutrinos.
Theoretically, it also contains dark
matter and dark energy.
Space technology
Technology that is related to entering,
and retrieving objects or life forms
from space.
Also
Weather forecasting
Remote sensing
GPS systems
Satellite television
Re entry technology
Thermal protection systems
Thermal soak
Tiles put on the ship to soak heat generated
while reentry.
Satellite
Satellite is an object which has been
placed into orbit by human endeavor
First by Russia
Sputnik (1957)
India
Aryabhatta (1975)
NASA
The National Aeronautics and Space
Administration is an Executive
Branch agency of the United States
government, responsible for the nation‘s
civilian space program and aeronautics
and aerospace research.
Nasa Technologies
Project Mercury
Used to discover if man could
survive in space
Project Gemini
Developing and practicing
techniques required for
lunar missions.
Apollo program
The Apollo program landed the
first humans on Earth's Moon
Skylab

station the United States launched
into orbit

probes designed to
investigate Mars, Venus and Mercury.
Hubble Space Telescope

Conclusion
NASA is focused on better
understanding of Earth and exploring
bodies throughout the Solar System with
advanced robotic missions
