How iPhone came into existence?

• Invented by a team of 24 engineers led by Steve Jobs.

• The project started in the year 2005 and went on till 2007.

• The iPhone 1st gen was launched on 9th January 2007 and
was commercially available on 29th June.
Breakthroughs accomplished
• iPhone is the 1st smartphone to be commercially available .

• Siri is the 1st intelligent virtual personal assistant to be


integrated in a smartphone.

• iPhone has a record breaking sale of more than 1.2 billion


units globally.

Success and failures
• The most successful iPhone of all time is the iPhone 7, about

issues.

• The latest iPhone X also didn’t make the cut due to software
issues and cost.
