INTRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION

 Google began in January 1996 as a research project by

Larry Page and Sergey Brin when they were both PhD
students at Stanford University in California.

 The pair started the Google search engine while working

on their Ph.D.s in Computer Science at the Stanford
University, USA.
 The Actual Name that Stanford University Suggested
Was “Backrub” But they came up with GOOGLE .

 "googol," a mathematical term for the number

represented by the numeral 1 followed by 100 zeros. The
use of the term reflects their mission to organize a
seemingly infinite amount of information on the web.

 The Main Motto of Google is “ To Provide Right

Information To The Right Person At Right Time”.
Mission :
To organize the world’s Information and make it
universally accessible and useful

 Vision:
To make global information easily available and
accessable at a single click.

PRICE STRATERGY

 Google's revenue is based on advertising, so it needs

more and more places to show its ads to increase its
revenue.

 Expanding its reach through its AdSense contextual ad

network makes sense. So does its acquisition of
DoubleClick. Both of these moves allow Google to place
ads on Web properties it does not own.
PROBLEMS FOR GOOGLE

 China Is Against The Working Of Google As they feel

that Revealing Information Publically is not a saftey
Measure.

 The most likely problem Google will have to face down

is a backlash based on privacy concerns. As the public
becomes savvier about privacy with each passing year,
providing free software might not be enough to persuade
people to part with their privacy.
CONCLUSION

 It has Made Social Networking Strong & People Across

the World are able to communicate with each other
through Social Networking sites.

 A place where Enormous Oceanic Information can be

availed.
