ABSTRACT
 In this fuel based economy there are 98% of
vehicles using fossil fuels
 These fossil fuels are depleting day by day
and costing the human life
 These also adversely effecting the
environment a lot
 In this fast pace fuel based economy
electrical vehicle is the best wiring project
INTRODUCTION
 Electric engine is an engine driven by an
electric motor
WORKING PRINCIPLE
 Motor drives the
vehicle by
rechargeable
batteries
 Accelerator pedal
is attached to
controller
 Controller controls
the speed of motor
MAIN COMPONENTS
 Rechargeable batteries
 Electric motor
 Controller
MODIFICATIONS
BEFORE MODIFIED
 pedaling system can also provided for
two wheelers to run it by mechanical
power
 And this pedaling system is also used in
four wheelers, to charge the batteries by
an alternator
 Solar panels are also used in the roof of
vehicles to recharge the batteries
 Above all these modifications can allow
us to save the power and increase the
efficiency
WHY IT IS PREFEARABLE
 Complex mechanical parts are eliminated
 provides smooth drive and zero emission
vehicle
 No starting problems and light in weight
 Due to elimination of reciprocating parts,
no question of balancing problem
 Less maintenance and easily accessible for
repairs
 Finally available at affordable price to
common people
SWOT ANALYSIS
STRENGTHS : WEEKNESS:
 Power to weight ratio is  shorter driving range
more  limitations involved in
 Continuous power batteries
 Less vibrations

 Smoother drive

OPPORTUNITIES: THREATS:
 Wide variety of models  Not preferable for heavy

 Depletion of fossil fuels loads

 less maintenance cost
HOW TO INCREASE THE
PERFORMANCE

 Installing properly rated batteries

 Increase the size of the tires
 Upgrade differential gear set to match the
motor torque and speed of the axle
 Using high performance controller
 Installing high speed motor as per
application
COMPARISION

CRITERIA GASOLINE FUEL CELL ELECTRIC

ENGINES VEHICLES VEHICLES
Efficiency 9 -36 % 5.9% 21%
Cost More Very costly Less cost
Maintenance More More Very less
power/weight Less Less high
ratio comparatively compartively
Emission more less Zero emission
COST OF FUEL

 Per 100 miles the cost of fuel

FINAL REMARK

 Due to the scarcity of fuel in this fuel based

economy, this electric drive technology is
going to be not only a better alternative but
also becomes a good wiring project
