    In 1983 three cases were reported in Tanzania
    where up to 1999 at least 118713 cases were
    reported. Led to raise of much attention, latter
    president Benjamin Mkapa announced that
    HIV/AIDS ‘’is an extraordinary crisis that requires
    extraordinary measures to deal with it,which led to
    formation of TACAIDS.
    Recent HIV/AIDS is the global crisis and a huge
    disaster in Sub Saharan countries including Tanzania
    where as more than 26 million are affected.
