 Animals are Living Things.
 There are two types of Living Things: Plants and
Animals.
 Animals are organisms that can move, talk, reproduce,
feed, etc
 Animals can be divided into 2 groups: Pet animals and
Wild animals.
 Pet animals are kept at homes, on the other hand, wild
animals are animals that live in the wild.

that are kept in houses by
humans.
 Pet animals, unlike Wild
animals, depend on
humans for food, shelter,
etc.
 Pet animals are cute
animals that are not
dangerous and can be
played with

Wild Animals
 Wild animals are animals
that live in the wild.
 They do not depend on
others for their food, or any
other thing.
 They are extremely
dangerous and are not to
be played with.

 Wild animals are further divided into 3 groups:
Carnivores, Herbivores and Omnivores.
 Herbivores are animals that feed on plants only.
 Carnivores are animals that feed on other animals
alone.
 Omnivores are animals that can survive by eating both
plants and other animals.
