(wikipedia)
Description continued on next slide>>>
Stages
Stage 1: Record
Set up your notes--the heading, columns, etc.

Stage 2: Reduce
Condense all of your notes; make everything as clear as possible

Stage 3: Recite
Help yourself memorize your notes; cover them up and practice to really retain the
information

Stage 4: Reflect
Give yourself some “wait time” after you’ve reviewed your notes--target areas that
you know are more difficult for you

Stage 5: Review
Summarize all of your notes briefly, helps retention
Example
..
Example for use
in a class
● The students can take down
notes efficiently during a
lecture.
● This could help get down the
major parts in a lecture and
help students organize ideas
better.
● As well as for reviewing for
tests in order to study well
Binturong (essential question: What are Binturongs and what are they commonly known for?)
An animal whose inhabitants are in Southeast Asia

This animal gives off a certain distinguishable smell that is compared to a specific
snack that many people eat.

For awhile people believed it was given off by their scent glands like any other
animal like a skunk or a opossum

However similar to a fox this scent comes from their urine but unlike the foxes scent
it smells like popcorn

The reason for this is because there are 29 chemical compounds found in their
urine and out of that one is in common with popcorn which both give eachother their
scent.
