Is the update required ? • Depends on the date the board was produced. • When you attempt to download your program in uVision It will complain if you have an outdated firmware version. • If it does complain - follow these steps. ST Link Firmware upgrade • Exit uVision • Navigate to C:\Keil\ARM\STLink • Launch (Double click) - ST-LinkUpgrade.exe
i. Press the reset button the discovery board.
ii. Click Device connect iii. Click yes to upgrade the firmware o If this fails unplug the USB cable from the PC and insert into a different USB socket and go back to i. iv. If all is ok exit the program - the upgrade is complete
