CLINICAL CASE

The patient of 53-year-old

Complaint of lumbalgia in the L5–S1 region


in situations of constant loading, with
irradiation of both legs.

ANTECEDENTS
L3-L4
Disc hernia
L4-L5

Having undergoing
classical lumbar
discectomy.
DISCUSSION

The incidence of lumbar stenosis in the general


population is between 1.7% and 8%

The diagnosis of lumbar
stenosis can be confirmed
through using computed
tomography.

And magnetic
resonance
imaging
CONCLUSION
Lumbar Spinal Stenosis is a low back condition,
where by the spinal canal (central stenosis), one
or more of the spinal foramens (narrowing) is
narrowed.

Surgery is most reliable for the relief


of leg symptoms but less reliable for
the relief of back pain.
