• Radio Advert – Coke Summer Sound Radio Advert
• Target Audience – I would proclaim that this advert is predominantly targeted at young people,
as the visuals on the screen is of a cartoon fish singing on a beach with a huge bottle of coke
near him. We hear all about how tasty coke is and the happiness it brings towards people.
• Tone Of Voice – The male presenter speaks in a calm, enthusiastic manner which suggests it is
an advert that promotes something that will make us an audience ecstatic.
• Sound Effects – We hear the sound of coke fizzing and people enjoying the taste which suggests
they try to provide evidence to ensure what the advert promotes is reliable.
• Type Of Sound/Tone – Sounds are quite relaxing yet fun at the same time. It provides an
atmosphere of happiness.
• Use Of Music - The music is quite funky and upbeat which suggests it quite an energetic topic.
• Sound Levels – The music is the same throughout, but stops when the ‘sound of coke’ plays.
• Length – It is 30 seconds which is typical length for a wide range of radio adverts.
• Other Notes – The advert doesn’t seem to point at a specific gender. The sounds we hear on the
radio advert suffice with the codes and conventions of a typical radio advert.
