Renovation: the state of being restored to its former good condition; "the inn was a renovation
of a Colonial house".

Construction activities with the purpose of essential rearrangement of existing building in order
to eliminate its physical,economic, legal, architectural/aesthetic, functional, comfort, social and
other kinds of aspect that contributes to the development of existing projects.

1. Deterioration : building physical, façade, permanent and temporary structures, internal
elements, external elements, building materials.
2. Building services and utilities supply : lift, escalator, air conditioning, power supply, water
supply ect.
3. Legal aspects : Acts and Regulations, Guidelines
4. Architectural and Aesthetic : building images on façade, historical influences, elements,
motifs, social perspectives.
5. Funtionalilty : changes of functions that may contributes to physical changes on building
structures.
6. Comfort : orientation, lighthing, sounds insulation, thermal insulation, ventilation, material
safety and comfort aspects, , space management, maintenance aspects etc.
