The document discusses evaluating a grade intervention program. It describes using an excel spreadsheet to track baseline and outcome data to evaluate the program. Strengths-based and person-in-environment theories were applied to see improvements in individual student grades. Comparing grades before and after the 5-week intervention showed overall improvements. The evaluation found starting the program sooner may have increased student grades in more subjects.

Families, Groups, Organizations, and Communities By:DeAndrea Crockwell 9.1 Select and Use Appropriate Methods for Evaluation of Outcomes For evaluating the Grade Intervention Program I used an excel spreadsheet to create a visual aid that can be used to easily identify the baseline data and the post-intervention outcomes. 9.2 Apply knowledge of human behavior and the social environment, person-in-environment, and other multidisciplinary theoretical frameworks in the evaluation of outcomes Using the strengths, empowerment and person-in-environment theory I have been able to see improvements in each individual student's grades through the five sessions that I have met with the Grade Improvement Group. 9.3 Critically analyze, monitor, and evaluate intervention and program processes and outcomes. Through comparing their grades from before the intervention and five weeks post intervention we can observe that there were improvements in their grades. 9.4 Apply evaluation findings to improve practice effectiveness at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels. If I had started the intervention sooner I believe that the students would have increased their grades in three or more subject rather than three or less.
