• The setting is the island, it is 75 miles along

the coast. Though they called it Island of
the Blue Dolphins.
 Problem

• In Island of the Blue Dolphins the problem

is Karana is left behind when her
people leave her island because her brother
Ramo was off board.
 Solution

• Karana went to a mission. And died from

something from the mission.

Why?
• My favorite charter is Karana and Ramo.
Karana is my favorite
charter because she shows me the courage
to be brave. To use what you know to
make food, shelter, and clothes. Also to give
it all you got.
Like she did. Ramo is my favorite
charter because he took care of Karana and
she did to. Like when the wild dogs
came he fought to keep Karana safe. He
showed me to take care of all my
family members.
