DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ISLAM AND CHRISTIANITY

JESUS CHRIST IS GOD?

POINT #1 –Does Jesus claim himself God?

-Is Jesus God? This problem can be solved by asking counter question “is
Jesus claimed to be God? Is Jesus said “worship me”?”.
-The nearest to that is quoted from the Book of Revelation, where it
supposed to be Jesus word, in the Bible, he said
“I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord,
which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
(Revelation 1:8)
-why they don’t worship Melchisedec as God? In the Bible,
“For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God,…
without father, without mother, without descent, have neither beginning
of days, nor end of life; but made like the Son of God; abideth a priest
continually.”
(Hebrews 7:1,3)
 POINT#2-Jesus claim that he is Son of God

-“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”
(Matthew 5:9)
-“And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord, Israel is my son, even
my firstborn:” (Exodus 4:22)
-“…For I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.”

(Jeremiah 31:9)
-we cannot worship Jesus because he said he is Son of God, and this is genius
Hebrew language, where all good-doers called as ‘Son of God’.
-In the Bible, Jesus said
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

(John 3:16)
-If this is the reason why Christians worship Jesus Christ as the true born Son
of God, why Christians didn’t want to worship Ephraim and the whole race of
Israel?
 POINT#3-Jesus claim that he is powerless

-“.. All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.”

(Matthew 28:18)
-Jesus claimed the power he has to raise Lazarus from the dead with
God permission, to cure the blinds, and the lepers, and to stop a storm
(based on Bible) is given to him and not his.

-Furthermore, he said, in the Bible,

“I can of mine own do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement
is just: because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father
which hath sent me.” (John 5:30)
-“..When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I
am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught
me, I speak these things.” (John 8:28)
-“But if I with the finger of God cast out devils,..” (Luke 11:20)

-As Jesus strictly claim not powerless, and the knowledge he have was
taught by God, and not his.
 POINT#4-Jesus claim to be one with God?

-“I and my Father are one.” (John 10:30)

-The verse is there and I cannot contradict it. But is it true that one here is one
in essence and not one in purpose?
-Let assume that this is one in essence, one in body, then let consider this
verse,
“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, are in me, and I in thee, that they
(the disciples) also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast
sent me.” (John 17:21)
-If this one is one in essence, one in body, that mean in the Gospel according
to John 17:21, the Father, Jesus Christ and his twelve disciples including Judas
the traitor are in one body and plus the Holy Ghost, there are 15 in one God.
-This ‘one’ is referred as ‘hen’ in Greek which mean ‘one in essence/body or
one in purpose’
 POINT#5-Jesus has no human father

-he has no human father, and born of the Virgin Mary, but Qur’an simply
answer this with following verse,
“Verily, the likeness of Jesus in Allah’s sight is the likeness of Adam. He created
him from dust, then said to him, ‘Be!’, and he was.”

(Quran 3:59)
-If Jesus is God because he has no human father, then Adam is greater
god because he has no human father and no human mother.
-But why we never worship Adam as God? This is because that this is not the
case. Adam is created by dust and Jesus is born of virgin woman. God
has power in all his creation.
 POINT#6-Man cannot be justified with God

-they claimed Jesus is 100% god and 100% human at the same time.
-In the Bible, Jesus is written as Son of Man 83 times, 70 more times
than as Son of God. In the Bible also said that man always cannot be
justified with God, based on following verse:
-“How then can man be justified with God? Or how can he be clean
that is born of a woman? Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not:
yea, the stars are impure in his sight. How much less man, that is
worm? And son of man, which is a worm?” (Job 25:4-6)

-Based on statement above, God said even all approximately

50,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars (based on new astronomy
discovery) and all the moons are impure and nothing in His sight.
-How can man be compared to him? In the Bible, God said son of man is no
more than a worm, and Jesus Christ is a son of man.
 POINT#7-Jesus claim that he is not God

-On the contrary, Jesus claimed that he is not the God, he said in the bible,
“Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God.”

(Mark 10:18)
-“… but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and
your Father; and to my God, and your God.” (John 20:17)
-Explicit statements spoken by Jesus Christ that he is not God. These verses
are Jesus word in the Bible and we cannot contradict them.

CONCLUSION
-Therefore, as we have discussed so many points regarding divinity of Jesus is
clearly illogical; I hope I have opened some Christians mind to accept the
Truth.
