ONLINE EB SUB STATION

DATA ANALYSER
AREA OF THE PROJECT

EMBEDDED SYSTEM
ABSTRACT
• This project is developed for the users to view the EB
Substation data in online manner.

• It consists of three separate loads, three set of current

and voltage sensors (Instead of EB substation
transformers), Microcontroller unit, PC interface etc.

• Simultaneously the user can monitor the data for all the
EB substation transformers.

• The project focuses on deployment challenges for

automated substation data analysis solutions
• The software in the PC is designed for sending the
individual current and voltage of the substation
transformer to the internet.

• The values are dynamically displayed in the screen.

• Thus the user can monitor the status of particular
substation in online manner.
ACCESSORIES

• Power Cable
• Communication Cable
• Programming Cable
INTRODUCTION
Online EB Sub Station Data Analyser consists of three system

1. Sub station system

2. Control Unit

3. Online system

 In substation system variable load and voltage and current

transformer are connected.

 Data analysing system is controlled by a control unit which

consists of a PIC 107877A microprocessor.
 The sensors send signal to the microcontroller unit
 The microcontroller analyses the signal and sends the voltage and
current of the particular transformer to the PC.

 By means of the online system all the processed data are

dynamically displayed in the user PC screen.
• The variable control parameters are voltage. Current &
power.
Advantages

• Scheduling of feeders

• Uniform distribution of load on the Transformer

• Restricts the use of phase converters

• Recording of important events

• Generation of feeder-wise reports

• Leads to automation
FEATURES

• Trips 33/11 or 66/11KV feeder circuit breaker as per

the schedules with auto compensation.

• Facility for remote operation through PSTN / GSM

modems

• Remote Operation of feeders and data acquisition.

• 100% Tamper proof operation in maintaining the

schedules.
