When? • We wash our hands before and after any meal we eat. • We wash our hands after going to the bathroom. • We wash our hands after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. • We wash our hands after being outside playing. • We wash our hands after touching any animal. How do we wash our hands? • First, wet your hands with clean, running water. • Second, put soap on your hands. • Next, rub your hands together thoroughly for at least 20 seconds. • Then, rinse the soap off your hands well under clean, running water. • Finally, dry your hands with a clean towel, or let them air dry.
