 LNBC

The signal received from the satellite is a very low power signal……
The LNB, mounted exactly at reception point in front of the
parabolic dishes , amplifies this signal which is very weak.
Distribution
amplifier

As multiple IRDs are receiving their signal from one satellite dish,
a passive splitter or active distribution amplifier/splitter is used
so as to receive the signal amplified by LNBC with equal amplitude
 IRDs

An integrated receiver/decoder (IRD) is an electronic device

Basically… used to pick-up a radio-frequency signal and convert digital
information transmitted in it.
The IRD is the interface between a receiving satellite dish Telco
networks and a broadcasting facility video/audio infrastructure.

In this transmitter…
The IRDs are provided with the down-linked signal at the input side which
may consist of different frequencies from the distribution amplifier. The
output of the IRD is the desired frequency of the channel we need to
transmit at that particular time.
Audio Video Switcher

Stereo audio switcher type AS-802 DBS is used for switching

of stereo audio signals in transmitter.

Video switcher type VS 1001 S is used for switching of video

signals in a broadcast studio or a transmitter.

Stab amplifier

Color stabilizing amplifier is employed in the video chain for

regenerating noise free sync and blanking components from an
incoming video signal, so that the composite color signal can be
adjusted to the standard value.
 Exciter

Exciter is considered as HEART of The TRANSMITTER.
