II. Design Thinking
Video DT
• What could happen if DT is encouraged in the
people we work with in our professional
environment? What could happen with the
needs people feel today? In what kind of
people they could turn to? How could be the
world?
Spaghetti Tower
Instructions:
• Make teams of 5 participants.
• Establish roles in the team
– Coordinator
– Secretary
– Animator
– Materials
– Control time
• Create a structure made of spaghettis that support itself
over the table and has in the highest part a marshmallow.
You will use for this activity 20 pieces of spaghettis, 1 meter
of tape, 1 meter of string and 1 marshmallow. The winner
will be the highest tower supported by itself.

Really Felt Problem
• Empathize. Interview; in the same teams one (1) person
talks about a problem he/she has and the rest of the
team just listen and take notes without judge.
• Observe. The team researches what could be the deeper
problem of the interviewed person (1).
• Define. Listen again to the person (1) and everyone define
the problem.
• Ideate. Brainstorm ¿How could be solved the problem of
person 1? Use post-it to help you to generate ideas.
• Prototype. In the team select one idea and develop a
prototype that provides a solution of the problem.
• Test. Show the prototype and ask the person (1) what is
his opinion.
• Apply. Run the solution when you arrive home.
