From your raw data, you have to do following things for your report

Plot
1. Total strain(y axis) vs time(x axis)

2. Creep strain(y axis) vs time (x axis)(creep strain = Remove instantaneous deformation from total strain
(take best approximation))

3. True strain (y axis) vs time (x axis)

4. Strain rate (y axis) vs strain (x axis) at constant stress (i.e. you know from your experimental condition)

5. True creep strain rate (y axis) vs true creep strain(x -axis)

From this graph take minimum three points at different ((true strain1, true strain rate1), (true
strain2, true strain rate2), (true strain3, true strain rate3)). You have to take values from minimum creep
strain rate.

6. Make a table
creep strain rate vs true stress. You will get these values from point “5”

7. Plot true strain rate (y axis) vs Average/mEAN true stress (x axis).

At each point Calculate true stress. you know the true strain rate and true strain.

Substitute engineering strain and engineering stress(calculate from initial cross section) in
equation 3. You will get true stress.
