STATES OF MATTER
There are 4 types of matter in
the universe;
Liquids
Solids
Gases
Plasmas
LIQUIDS
They are the intermediate state of matter between solids and gases
Because of having more space between their particles ,they can’t
be in a fixed position.
They fit in the shape of the container they are filled with.
Attraction between their particles keep its volume constant.
Most of the Earth is formed by liquids.
SOLIDS
Because of their particles are packed closely they cannot move by themselves .
Despite having moleculer vibrations they keep their position shape.
Their size cannot be changed because of having a fixed volume.
Solids are categorized in two states;
Crystallized Solids
In crystalline solids, the atoms, ions or molecules are arranged in an ordered
and symmetrical pattern that is repeated over the entire crystal.(minerals)
Amorphous Solids
In amorphous solids (literally "solids without form"), the particles do not have a
repeating lattice pattern.(glass)
GASES
Biochemical change
Organic chemical changes that occur in living organisms.
