•Uso – Usage
• Se usa el pasado simple para expresar una
acción que comenzó y terminó en un momento
específico en el pasado.

• WE USE THE AUXILIARY DID : for negative

and interrogative sentences
 Examples:
• He closed the door El cerro la puerta
• Hhe danced a lot yesterday Ella bailo mucho ayer
• My Mother washed a lot Mi Madre lavo mucho
• They gave an English test Ellos dieron examen de ingles
• You drank the coca cola Tu te bebiste la coca cola
• The baby ate everything La bebe comió todo

Past Simple: Regular Verbs
El tiempo pasado simple de la mayoría de los verbos en inglés (verbos
regulares) se forma sumando "ed" "d" a su forma base. (Si el
verbo termina en "e", agregamos "d" para formar el pasado simple)

•Examples:
We arrived at 9:00 o'clock.
My brother lived in London four years ago.
When she was young, she danced beautifully.
 Form: Verb “to be”
