LINEAR ELECTRIC SUB MERSIBLE PUMP

(LESP 2018)
I. Linear Electric Submersible Pump –
an innovation from Triol
What is LESP?

Is a brand new Installation for marginal/stripper wells which

consists of:

I. Downhole sensor
II. Linear Submersible Motor
III. Submersible Plunger Pump
IV. Step upMain
transformer
Parameter Value
V. Length drive
Variable frequency 62 ft
Linear motor length 35 ft
Linear motor d 0.4 ft

Piston pump d 0.3 ft

Sensors 0.3 ft
Tubing size 2 3/8” EUE 8 rd

Weight 2072 pounds

Advantages of LESP from Triol

The installation provides:

• Complete solution for oil production from marginal wells;

• Flow rate - 0,8-24 m³ (5 – 150 bpd);
• High efficiency with the depth of the well 2900 m (12 800 ft);
• Can work with the deviation angle of the well 60° and temperature 150°C;
• Quick system installation - no special needs for tubing and casing;
• Longer life-time of tubing (no friction of with plunger);
• Sensitivity of the equipment to all changes in well bottom (when oil inflow-outflow changes the
whole installation changes its algorithm of work);
• Low costs of installation and operation;
• Totally new software for installation control (the installation is flexible for settings);
LESP field of application

LESP for low flow and marginal wells with medium oil viscocity

 Newly operated suspended deep unconventional wells (flow up to 150 bpd);

 Stable production with flow lower then 150 bpd flow compared to ESP start/stop operation;

 Wells depth up to 9800ft and well bulge up to 15%, where SRP installation is impossible;

 Wells with gas content up to 20%.
