ZERO CONDITIONAL
The zero conditional is used to talk in general
of facts that happen under absolute or
generic truths
Formation of conditional zero type / Zero
conditional
• In conditional zero type sentences, the verb tense in both
propositions is the "present simple”. There are two types
of structures possible. The first structure of the training
would be the following:
Affirmative

Proposition + Condition + Result

Proposition (IF/WHEN) + Present simple + Present simple

• Meanwhile the second would be:

• Result + Proposition + Condition

Present simple + Proposition (IF / WHEN) + Present simple
Negative

• Proposition + Condition + Result

Proposition (IF/WHEN) + Present simple + Not Present simple

Meanwhile the second one would be:

Result + Proposition + Condition

Not + Present simple + Proposition (IF / WHEN) + Present Simple
Interrogative

Interrogative particle + Auxiliary + Subject + Verb + IF / When + Present simple + ?
