LAGONOY SOUTH DISTRICT • Gather and consolidate data from the LIS of those elementary learners who are school leavers, drop-out, not interested to enrol in the formal education, and overage from their status in the elementary level. • Assist in the survey and mapping of the entire household with special emphasis on the level of primary and secondary formal drop-out, of the barangay(s) he/she is assigned. • Assist in the collection and consolidation of relative data on participation rate of children and youth enrolled in private and public schools within the barangay(s) he/she is assigned. • Coordinate with and consult the Sangguniang Barangay concerned on issues regarding education, most especially on the implementation of ALS. • Assist the concerned Municipal/City Government, the concerned DepEd Division Schools Superintendent, the ALS Provincial/City Office and the Sangguniang Barangay on social mobilization of the ALS. • Devices plans and implements them in order to sustain gains of learners from the ALS programs (with approval of DALSC/MT). • Coordinates with community leaders to identify potential learners and organises learning groups for Basic Literacy Program and Accreditation and Equivalency System. • Conducts home visits, individual tutorials, counselling and other needs-driven activities in an effort to retain and win the learners back to the literacy sessions. • Perform as learning facilitator and /or literacy volunteer of the BLC in his/her assigned Barangay(s). • Assist in the conduct of learning sessions at BLP, Elementary and Secondary levels using ALS Learning Modules and supplementary materials. • Implement the programs of ALS to address illiteracy within the barangay(s). • Assist learners in compiling RPL and Assessment forms and work samples in portfolios. • Perform such other functions as may be deemed necessary by supervisors and the concerned BLCC.
