1) The organizational structure is well defined and there is less ambiguity in the roles
and responsibilities defined.
2) The top management was aware that there were some problems in the organization
and was thinking in direction of facing them.
3) The company is in a position to hire qualified professionals and is profitable.

è
1) Though the company is well structured, the structure has become rigid and resistant
to change.
2) Many employees have gone lethargic and are not fulfilling their duties.
3) There are many faults in the materials issue and various other processes.
4) There is a lack of a Personnel department, and thus proper training and development
of employees is absent. Also this leads to high attrition rates.
5) Lack of effective vertical communication channels in the organizations.
6) Creativity and innovation are not encouraged in the organization.

O O

1) If the company is able to correct its above discussed problems, it may regain its lost
market position.
2) By controlling its costs and managing its processes well, the company can also
improve its profitability.
3) By encouraging people like Mr. Sharma and Mr. Roy, the company can bring to itself a
creative and innovative edge.
4) By the creation of a personnel department, the company can address the problems
faced by its workforce and better manage employee relations, thus improving
productivity and profitability.

1) If the company continues in its present way, its position may detoriate further in both
sales and profitability.
2) By the current way of processing, the costs of the company may increase to an
unmanageable level.
3) Due to the insufficient attention given to the employees, mostly resulting from the
lack of an HR department, the employee productivity may also decline.
4) As Devesh Sharma was unable to work in the current environment of the company,
the organization may face a perennial lack of ability to attract and retain talent.
