 Common Law Admission Test
• CLAT is the national level law entrance exam
conducted every year for securing admission
in National Law Universities

 Exam Pattern
• The entrance exam will be held through online process.

• It will be a computer-based test (CBT).

• The medium of examination will be in English.

• The question paper will be of 200 marks.

• Marking Scheme:
– For each correct answer, 1 mark will be given to the candidate.
– 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

• The duration of this entrance exam will be 120 minutes.

• English (Grammar-&-Comprehension) (40)
• Legal Aptitude / Legal Reasoning (50)
• General Knowledge and Current Affairs (50)
 Eligibility
• Minimum percentage of marks in HSC (12th) the
candidates must have secured:
(i) Gen/OBC/PwD – 45%
(ii) SC/ST categories – 40%
• Candidates appearing in 12th exam can appear
• Age of candidates should not be more than
(i) Gen – 20 years
(ii) OBC/PwD/SC/ST – 22 years
