The Seven Environmental

Principles
1. Nature knows best
• Burning of farm wastes instead of allowing
them to decompose naturally disrupts the
cycle.

• Rat population is controlled by the presence of

predators like snakes
2. All forms of life are important
• Each organism has its own ecological niche
3. Everything is connected to everything else.

• Physico-chemical factors influence the

condition of the surrounding.
4. Everything changes
• Cyclical
-Seasons and geological change that go with the seasons.

• Linear
-State of matter or of biological organisms that are not
repeated.

• Random change
-volcanic eruption/earthquake
5. Everything must go somewhere.

• Since wastes are not lost to oblivion, and even

goes back to one’s own backyard in some
other forms.
6. Ours is a finite earth.
• Consider the renewable and non-renewable
resources.
7. Nature is beautiful and we are the
stewards of God’s creation
• Human should take good care of the nature
we have and not will serve as the destroyer.
