• i) Advise the Federal Government on all matters
relating to the use and development of land.
• ii) Act as a secretariat to the National Physical
Planning Council established under the Town and
Country Planning Act 1976 (Act 172).
• iii) Promote a comprehensive, effective and efficient
planning system through planning laws, planning
methodologies, planning studies, standards and
FEDERAL planning procedures.
• iv) Translating national socioeconomic policies into
physical and spatial forms according to land use
formulas and policies and placement programs.
• v) Assist state governments, local authorities and
government agencies in the preparation of the
Development Plan, the State Structure Plan, the Local
Plan.
• vi) Supervise, update and publish statistics, bulletins
and methods related to urban and rural planning.
• i) Act as a major adviser to the state government
in all matters of planning, including the use and
development of land.
• ii) Working as Secretary of the State Planning
Committee established under the Town and
Country Planning Act 1976 (Act 172).
• iii) Advise Local Authorities in relation to land and
building planning policies and controls.
STATE
• iv) Act as an advisor to local authorities on town
and village planning, as well as the development
and use of land.
• v) Controlling internal development includes
approval and regulation on implementation of
development plans.
• vi) Assist in the provision of the arrangement for
special projects run by the state government.
• i) Act as a major adviser to the state
government in all matters of planning,
including the use and development of land.
• ii) Working as Secretary of the State
Planning Committee established under the
LOCAL Town and Country Planning Act 1976 (Act
172).
• iii) Advise Local Authorities in relation to land
and building planning policies and controls.
• iv) Act as an advisor to local authorities on
town and village planning, as well as the
development and use of land.
