• PASSION : The sexual motives associated with a


couple’s relationship.

• COMMITMENT : Cognitive processes involved in


deciding that you love another person and
committed to maintain the relationship.
• A different conception of the meaning of
love was provided by Sternberg (1986)
through Triangular Model of Love.
Love Styles by
Hendrick (1986)
An intense and often unrealistic
emotional response to another
person, a reaction that feels as
if it is beyond control.
Love felt by one person for another who does not
feel love in return.
Ending a relationship
is indeed a difficult task
(Vangelist, 2006).

As a result, a growing

carry out this painful
