NUTRIGREENS

BY
ORI HEALTH SDN. BHD.
NUTRIGREENS
 Millions of people around the world are drinking
grass juice for their health.
 The juice are made by crushing wheat or barley
when it is only five to six inches high and looks
like grass.
 The grass juice is rich chlorophyll, vitamins,
minerals, proteins and enzymes, all of that are
necessary and beneficial for complete nutrition.
NUTRIGREENS
 Chlorophyll, a chemical substance similar to human
blood cell, has been called liquid oxygenated sunshine.
 Chlorophyll is present in all dark green vegetables.

 The problem is that we are not taking enough of it or

they are destroyed during cooking or food preservation.
 Nutrigreens is a complete formulation that blend in all
the greens to compensate the lack of consumption of
vegetables and fruits.
WHAT IS CHLOROPHYLL ?

Chlorophyll is a pigment
responsible for the plants’ green
colour and essentially function in
the same way as the blood in a
human’s body.
FUNCTIONS OF CHLOROPHYLL
 1. Blood builder
 The structure of chlorophyll is identical to the
molecule of our red blood cell (RBC).
 The difference between them is only the central atom.
 For this reason, chlorophyll has been proven useful in
building up the RBC count in human.
 RBC plays an important role as they carry oxygen to
the tissues and a low RBC count results in anemia.
FUNCTIONS OF CHLOROPHYLL
 2. Detoxifier
 Chlorophyll is a good cleanser or detoxifier.
 It helps to remove toxic materials from all the internal organs
such as liver, kidney, spleen including the blood.
 In the intestinal tract, chlorophyll help to rebuild back
intestinal tissue, inhibit growth of toxic bacteria and reduce
levels of acidity.
 People with good health can also benefit from chlorophyll
because it helps strengthen body immunity or resistance,
 As a powerful detoxifier,it greatly aids the entire digestive
process by increasing body’s ability to absorb.
SPIRULINA
 The protein content of spirulina is somewhat similar to
chlorella, which contain all the amino acid needed by
human nutrition.
 Compare to meat, the protein content is approximately 3
times higher.
 It ranges from 55-65%.

 Spirulina contain chlorophyll, nucleic factors (RNA &

DNA), vitamins and minerals.
 Spirulina contains more vitamin B12 than chlorella; it is
considered one of the earth’s richest vitamin B12
sources.
SPIRULINA
 Spirulina contains nucleic acid which help to improve
the activity of cell’s enzyme and the process of DNA
repair.
 Spirulina possess immune system enhancer properties. It
was found that spirulina may enhance the activity of
immune cells.
 Studies has also highlighted the benefits of spirulina for
gastrointestinal tract especially in relation to intestinal
flora.
SPIRULINA
 Spirulina is 85-95% digestable because it’s cell wall
contain no cellulose.
 This is especially beneficial for older people and those
with digestion problems.
 Spirulina contains GLA, an essential fatty acid needed
for postaglandin production.
 Spirulina contains carotenoids which provides various
services for the body, protecting the heart and inhibiting
the activity of cancer cells.
CEREAL GRASSES
 Wheat grass, barley grass and alfalfa belong to the cereal
grass category.
 Compared to algae derived greens, the cereal grasses are
higher in fiber.
 Fiber is a valuable aspect of the cereal grasses’
nutritional content.
 While certain foods, like wheat, oats and various fruits
and vegetable are generally thought of as containing the
most fiber, immature cereal grasses actually provide
higher fiber amounts than most of these foods.
WHEAT GRASS
 Like other grasses, wheat grass contains high levels of
various proteins and amino acids (which make up
proteins in the body).
 In fact, unlike most plant sources, the composition of
amino acid of wheat grass is complete.
 Immature wheat grass provide far greater amount of
amino acids than any plant sources.
 Beside providing protein, wheat grass has the immune
stimulator as well as blood cleanser ability.
BARLEY GRASS
 Barley grass is derived from immature shoots of the
plant when they have the richest concentration of
nutrients.
 The extract of green barley contains about 45% protein.

 The protein in barley grass is extremely helpful for

gastrointestinal disorder.
 Barley grass contains an array of minerals, vitamins,
enzymes, chlorophyll and amino acids.
BARLEY GRASS
 Barley grass contains more than 10 times calcium in
cow’s milk, 5 times iron in spinach and several times of
vitamin C than in oranges.
 Barley grass contains SOD (Superoxide dismutase)
which is a scavenger enzyme that act as an antioxidant.
 Besides its detoxifier function, barley grass is a source of
alkaline food which help to restore acid-alkaline balance
in the body.
 When the balance of acid and alkaline in the body is
upset, the cell metabolism suffers leading to condition
such as chronic fatigue.
BARLEY GRASS
 Beside been a source of high dietary fiber, barley grass
contain selenium ( a type of antioxidant).
 Recent studies showed that barley grass helps to lower
blood LDL cholesterol (the bad cholesterol).
 Barley grass contains soluble and insoluble fiber. Soluble
fiber is effective in lowering blood cholesterol and heart
disease. Soluble fiber also help in slowing the absorption
of sugar thus reducing the risk of developing Type 2
diabetes.
BARLEY GRASS
 The insoluble fiber is beneficial in helping the body to
maintain regular bowel function. Insoluble fiber may
also help to lower the risk of certain cancer such as colon
cancer.
 Barley grass contains several vitamins and minerals
including niacin (Vitamin B3), thiamine (Vitamin B1),
selenium, iron, magnesium, zinc, phosphorus and copper.
BARLEY GRASS
 Barley grass contains antioxidants which are also
important for maintaining good health. Antioxidant work
by bringing down the rate of oxidative damage by
radicals.
 Barley grass contains phytochemicals which are natural
plant-based chemicals. Studies indicate that
phytochemicals from barley grass may decrease the risk
for certain diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and
cancer.
ALFALFA
 Alfalfa is known as the father of all food.
 Alfalfa is a kind of legume which is rich in antioxidant,
vitamins, minerals and essential amino acid.
 Alfalfa has a different level of nutrient content and can
be a complement to barley grass.
ALFALFA
 Alfalfa has the blood cleansing activity and is beneficial
for inflammatory diseases and digestive disorders.
 Alfalfa also contains saponins, substances which have
been shown to lower cholesterol levels by binding
cholesterol and bile salts in the gut.
 Alfalfa was known as the “Father of Herbs” in ancient
times. One main reason for this is the presence of
nutrient rich chlorophyll found in this plant.
WHY NURIGREENS ?
 The cause of most illnesses is the lack of necessary
nutrients in our body.
 For optimum health, the cells and tissues of the entire
body must be consistently supplied with nourishment.
 Nutrigreens fulfill your body nutritional needs via :-.
 1. Nutrigreens contain all the known minerals such as
calcium. Magnesium, phosphorus, potassium etc.
 2. Nutrigreens contain natural and balanced range of
vitamins.
WHY NUTRIGREENS ?
 Nutrigreens contains :
 3. Nutrigreens keeps the blood alkaline
 4. Nutrigreens supply us with ample amount of protein.
 5. Nutrigreens provide us with chlorophyll, which act as
blood builder and detoxifier.
 6. Nutrigreens contain oligosaccharides ( a prebiotic) that
provide food to good gut bacteria.
