 Hold 10 Community follow up meeting for both old and new

Cohort.
 Meeting with the Chairman of Jamirta Union and with the Ward
commissioner of 29 no ward to discuss the issues related to the
services of their Union / ward and current status of their Union/
Ward.
 Assign local mentors (school teacher, NGO personnel) to youth
leaders.
 Provide internship opportunity to young people.
 Facilitating youth for Grant Collection and cost effective utilization
of grants to implement SAP.
 Monitor progress, evaluate community projects.
 Monthly report submission.
 Quarterly report submission

Assist young people to design and

plan their community Project to
engage wider communities in local
governance
 The knowledge level of the participants on
specific issues has been enhanced;

 The participants are aware of the Social

Action Project, its design, implementing
stage, financing, budget and management
 The field job become hampered due to bad weather and it is
a challenge to run implementing activities during this season.

 The one locations from another are so many far of

Jamirta union. So it consume huge time, energy and
coast. In considering the time & coast the youths are
not interested to move as regular basis to implement
SAP.
 Office hours will be reduced in holy month Ramadan,
and both the youth and mentors are not interested in
working during this time

 Both the youth and mentor are getting busy with their
livelihood and most of them are not available in local area
and also they are losing their interest and hope.
 As the election year some of the active youth leaders already
started spending more time in political involvement.

 Chairman of Jamirta Union ( He himself as brick kiln business

person ) and the commissioner of 29 no wards ( Most of the
time is in abroad ) are not supportive enough to cooperate
this project.

 Elected Representatives of Local Government ( UP & City

Corporation ) are becoming to start les priority of PRODIGY
Social Action Project as because of less incentives
 Learning
Regular communications and follow-up with the participants and
motivation as well help ensuring their attendance in the training
sessions and not able to give proper time to work in group to
implement social action projects.
