Formulating the Hypothesis

Three Ways of Stating the Hypothesis
 NULL FORM
 states that there is no significant difference between
the results of two conditions being tested
 ALTERNATIVE FORM
 states that there is a significance difference between
the results of two conditions being tested
 CAUSE & EFFECT STATEMENT
 states that if a certain condition (cause) is true, then
a supporting observation (effect) occurs
