Trading Game Activity

Instructions/Objective

• Divide into your groups


• One person come up and select 10 cards at random for their group
• Objective: Get the most points by trading your “products”
• “Free Trade” any country can trade with whoever they would like
• You can creatively market or combine products to end up with something
more desirable.
First Trade Period – 10 MINUTES

• WORLD SITUATION:
• The world is running out of oil, making oil rare and more expensive

• OUTCOME:
• The worth of oil is increased by two points
Second Trade Round – 2 MINUTES

• After this time is over, we will tally up scores.


Last Situation

• WORLD SITUATION:
• Japan learns to make counterfeit electronics, making its electronics cheaper

• OUTCOME:
• Japan takes one electronic unit from each country.

• Re-Tally scores and see who won.
