APPLICATION OF PRACTICE BEHAVIORS 9.1-9.4
 (9.1) Rapport with my clients have been keep throughout the case. As I began the end transition process, I have
provided a time frame for the clients as well as my card in case they lost it so they can contact me. I advised them
who will be taking over my cases while the new volunteer is assigned. The attached survey was created to be able
to evaluate the differences if any from a GAL who makes visit monthly in comparison to GAL who does not visit
but has a representative visit on their behalf.
 (9.2) A monthly scheduled was created to visit with every child monthly regardless of court. Reports have been
started to demonstrate consistent visits and will be provided to supervisor at the end of internship. The survey
also displays if GAL has visited monthly.
 (9.3-9.4) The attached surveys displays that the children feel as if their GAL attends court, shows empathy,
communicates well, addresses their needs and understand their needs regardless of the monthly visits or if it’s a
GAL representative making the visits. The children feel that their voices are being heard with a active volunteer as
well as courtesy visits. It is important to notes that children under a courtesy visit GAL representative (quarterly
visits) would like the physical presence of their GAL.
