7.3 Develop mutually agreed-on intervention, goals, and objectives based on the
critical assessment of strengths, needs, and challenges with clients and constituencies
• Always discuss plan and interventions with clients
• Make sure goals align with clients wants and needs
• Remember client always has the right to self-determination

7.4 Select appropriate interventions strategies based on the assessment, research,

knowledge, and values, and preferences of clients and constituencies.
• Talk to the client about their wants & needs
• Support the client and the choices they make
• Remember that Healthy Start is Voluntary
